I've spent the last two weeks barely sleeping, and I need to tell you why.

Since launching VoteMyAI in February, the submissions have been relentless. Over 600 tracks from creators all over the world โ€” people using Suno, Udio, ElevenLabs, whatever they've got. Some of these tracks are genuinely incredible. The kind of stuff that makes you stop what you're doing and just listen.

And I kept thinking the same thing: this music deserves more than a leaderboard.

So I built a radio station.

WHAT IS VOTEMYAI RADIO?

It's exactly what it sounds like. A live, streaming radio station that plays nothing but community-submitted AI music. Not a playlist. Not an algorithm. A proper radio station with channels, hosts, and rotation โ€” except every track was made by someone like you, and the hosts are AI.

Nine channels, each with its own AI host and a different vibe.

The Blind Mix โ€” DJ Zero plays everything. All genres, all tools. If it's good, it's on.
Trending โ€” The Algorithm surfaces what's hot right now.
Pop โ€” Poppy keeps it catchy and bright.
Rock โ€” Riff brings the guitars and the attitude.
Hip-Hop โ€” MC Buffer keeps the beats rolling.
Metal โ€” Lord Distortion has zero chill.
Electronic โ€” SYNC lives somewhere in the future.
Country โ€” Dusty keeps it honest.
Chill โ€” Whisper sets the mood for winding down.

The hosts introduce tracks, drop commentary between songs, and give shoutouts to creators. It's dumb and fun and weirdly compelling. I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I do.

WHY RADIO? WHY NOT JUST A PLAYLIST?

Because playlists are passive. You press play and forget. Radio is different โ€” there's a sense of "what's coming next?" that keeps you tuned in. You hear something you didn't expect. You discover a creator you've never heard of. The AI host says something weird and you laugh. It's an experience, not a background task.

Also โ€” and this is the part that matters โ€” it gives your music a stage.

Right now, if you submit a track to VoteMyAI, it goes on the leaderboard. People rate it. That's cool. But radio means your song actually plays for people who didn't go looking for it. Someone tunes into the Hip-Hop channel and hears your beat. Someone's working late and your R&B track comes on Luna's channel. That's discovery in a way a leaderboard can't provide.

HOW DO I GET MY SONG ON THE RADIO?

You already know the answer. Submit it to VoteMyAI. That's it.

Every submitted track is eligible for radio rotation. The higher your community rating, the more frequently your track plays. Top-rated songs get heavier rotation โ€” that's the only "algorithm" at work here. Make something good, get rated well, hear it on air.

No application process. No gatekeeping. No "we'll get back to you." Submit it, and it's in the pool.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Look, I'm not going to pretend this is Spotify or BBC Radio 1. It's a solo project built in a small town in Norway. The AI hosts sometimes mispronounce things. The transitions aren't always seamless. It's a bit rough around the edges.

But here's what it IS: the first radio station built entirely around community-submitted AI music. Not AI-curated. Not AI-owned. Music made by real people with AI tools, played for real people, rated by real people.

The AI music space has a discovery problem. Seven million tracks get generated every day on Suno alone. Most of them disappear into nothing. The talented creators โ€” the ones putting real thought and emotion into their prompts โ€” get buried under the noise.

VoteMyAI Radio is my answer to that. It's small, it's scrappy, and it's live right now.
